ADMISSIONS PROCESS & POLICIES

We are committed to creating a small, tight-knit community of families dedicated to raising their children based on Montessori principles. Our application process is designed primarily to determine whether families will be a good fit for our community, not to gauge the academic potential of children.

 

REGULAR ADMISSIONS PROCESS - November through March Annually

STEP 1 - Ongoing

  • Read through the information on our website to determine if our school is a good fit for your family . This is the most important part of the application process.

  • Please review the following pages prior to moving on to Step 2: FAQ, Our Program, Montessori in a Nutshell. These pages are required reading prior to scheduling a tour (see Step 2) as we are limiting our tours to no more than 3 couples per tour.

STEP 2 - Tours Scheduled & Written Applications Due by Friday, January 30th

  • Attend a tour (required) - We are limiting our tours to only those who are VERY interested in our program; Tours are scheduled on TUESDAYS at 9:00am and are limited to three (3) families per session. Tours will be offered from Tuesday November 11, 2025 through Tuesday, January 27th, 2026.

  • Written Application emailed to: admissions@hiattfarmsmontessori.com

  • Signed final page of the Family Handbook emailed to: admissions@hiattfarmsmontessori.com

  • $75 non-refundable check mailed to the following address: Hiatt Farms Montessori School, 6664 North County Road 13, Loveland, CO 80538. This can also be dropping in our locked mailbox at the entrance of our driveway.

STEP 3 - Family Interviews via Zoom

  • We will begin emailing families to schedule interviews during the week of January 5th for applications received in November and December

  • Interviews will be conducted during the entire month of January through Friday, February 13th for ALL written applications received between November 2025 - January 2026. All family interviews will be concluded by Friday, February 13th.

  • Only families who have completed a tour as well as submitted an application will be invited to interview.

  • In lieu of in-person meet and greets with children, we will be relying on input from your child’s current care provider.

STEP 4 - Admissions Decisions

  • We will begin emailing admissions decisions out between March 2nd and March 13th, 2026. All admissions decisions will be made by Friday, March 13th, 2026.

    • PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE 48 HOURS TO ACCEPT OUR ENROLLMENT OFFER FROM THE TIME THE ACCEPTANCE EMAIL HAS BEEN SENT. WE WILL ATTEMPT TO CONTACT YOU IF WE HAVE NOT HEARD FROM YOU AFTER 24 HOURS FOLLOWING THIS ENROLLMENT OFFER. IF WE DO NOT HEAR FROM YOU WITHIN 48 HOURS OF OUR ENROLLMENT OFFER, THE SPOT WILL BE OFFERED TO ANOTHER FAMILY. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Accepted families will complete all enrollment files and submit a tuition deposit, at which point the child will be officially enrolled. We will host an orientation for accepted families over the summer, when the enrollment process is complete.

*Please note that a completed application does not guarantee admission into our program.


INFANT - For the 2026-2027 school year, we are prioritizing children who are 12 months or younger as of January 1, 2027.

TODDLER - For the 2026-2027 school year, we are prioritizing children who will be younger than 2 years as of January 1, 2027.

PRIMARY - For the 2026-2027 school year, we are prioritizing children who will be close to 3 years old in January 2027.

We are working hard to represent the values, mission, procedures and policies of Hiatt Farms Montessori School on this website and in the enrollment process, but we reserve the right to change policies or information regarding the school or the enrollment process should the need arise.
