LANGUAGE IMMERSION
Our environments will offer English and Spanish immersion, with materials and lessons offered in both languages. Montessori environments always have two “teachers,” the guide and the assistant. At Hiatt Farms our assistants are native Spanish-speakers who only communicate with children in Spanish, whereas the guide communicates exclusively in English.
FARMING
Hiatt Farms Montessori is—you guessed it!—on a farm. We incorporate age-appropriate farming activities, ranging from gardening to animal care for our resident sheep, goats, rabbits and other loving, child-friendly creatures.
